hipster friday

it's hipster friday at the office (initiated last week by my good friend sandi), and in honour i'd like to share with you my hipster pattern of the day - black & white plaid. so  throw on your favourite plaid shirt, pull out your shades, throw your hair up in a messy bun and just don't give a care. happy hipster friday.

the skeleton dance

does anyone have memories of watching this as a child and being absolutely terrified? seriously, the shows we watched back when our minds were young and impressionable, they make shows today look like mush. i've been checking out an array of tv shows from my past on netflix, and every one makes me gasp. i think they scare me more now then they did back then. felix the cat, rocko's modern life, those are some seriously effed up shows.

portrait in stages: callum

the portrait i did of callum this past winter. he absolutely loves it and hangs it above the bed (NOT). it's currently hidden behind another painting of mine, and if not there, tucked behind the organ.

p.s. sorry for the lame photography, as well as inconsistent use of photoshop filters on each photo. i need to pick one and stick to it for this very reason.
