last night i was at the sound academy checking out the beady eye concert and it was actually pretty awesome. i thought that maybe it would be full of people just there to gaze at liam to cope with their oasis withdrawal symptoms, but the energy was crazy and everyone was singing along. in between EVERY song people would break into chant, "beady eye, beady eye." best concert i've seen at the sound academy in a while. i'm also a sucker for liam's british flag smock and page-boy hair.

today's tune: beady eye - the roller

i'm going to see beady eye on june 20 at the sound academy and i'm so freakin excited. i never caught oasis in concert, and after the assault on noel galager incident and the fact that oasis is no more, this is the closest i'm going to get. their newish song 'the roller' is fantastic and perfect for a sweltering hot, sunny day like today.
